| Hello everyone,
Excited to be here! I have taken one yoga class, and I fell in love. I really enjoy learning about yoga, and even though I have only been practicing for a little while, I enjoy the benefits already.
I am in college and paying for it on my own, and I do not have a lot of money to spend on yoga classes or videos. All of my money unfortunately goes to the school or for bills : 0
I was wondering if anyone might have any old yoga tapes or dvds that they do not use any more that might be willing to donate to a poor college student : ) or sell at a discounted rate.
Thank you!!! |

| I have the two Baron Baptiste Journey into Power Vhs tapes which I don't use anymore. If you let me know where to send them and reimburse me for postage, I'd be happy to see them go to good use.

| One other thing you can do with a limited budget if you have a good internet connection is to look at the search results for this:
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=free+hatha+yoga
The first couple that come up (as of today anyway) are a 15 minute level two and a 36 minute level one routine from a site that has lots more for a fee. These are pretty good, IMO. The narrarator gives pretty clear instructions and the pace is reasonable. If you go to this site:
http://keepvid.com/
you can use the URL of a video to download it so you can replay it while not connected to the net. I also have found that downloading the videos as FLV files and then using the free FLV player you can find from there makes it easy to pause, rewind and fast forward more effectively than you can on the web. |
