Subject: Lifting into Chaturanga Dandas

Hi,

I know that after much practice, practice, all is coming, I will be able to float up and back into chaturanga dandasana. In the interim, is it better to always step back to high plank and then lower down to chaturanga dandasana, or to lift onto the hands a bit (baby beginnings of handstand) and then jump back somewhat quietly right into chaturanga? No thuds, but not a whole heck of a lot of floating. What's the appropriate chaturanga practice to strengthen so that the floating will one day happen?

Thanks, trusty board!

Jourdan
