Subject: Total Newbie. Weights/Yoga?

Ok my names Bill, and new here my question is this

I lift weights, I lift weights heavily, I also study martial arts. now lately due to my weightlifting regimen my muscles have been growing tense(even when relaxed)and this interferes with the martial arts. I wish to continue lifting, but need a way to teach my muscles to work with my joints and nerves and such as opposed to against the rest of my body.

Will Yoga help me accomplish this? The concept of having decently sized, relaxed, usable muscles is what I seek.

Thanks all
