How can yoga practice go wrong when you have this little bundle of love keeping its eyes on me? Every time I lose my balance a little bit or lose my breathing I can see her lifting her head and wondering what I'm going and sending energy to me so that I can get back into it. Because cats are so full of energy and when they give it to you, you can't avoid feeling it. Cats are very, very yogic, I think.

Check this out, my darling Isola. At the bottom of the pic you see my yoga mat.

Aww, how cute.

If I place my yoga mat down and leave the room for even a second, I'll come back and find my cat rolling around on it. He loves the way the texture feels. I took a picture of him doing down dog once on the mat...it was too perfect.

There is something about cats and yoga mats. Isola loves my mat too, and thankfully she keeps her claws in when she's rolling aroung on it.

I explained to here what I was doing during one practice, after that she's been much calmer. It may sounds wierd, but it's true.

Cats are majestic. Their behavior is so mysterious and wonderful. I pretty much love all animals, but have a soft spot for cats b/c they're so beautiful and full of quiet energy.
