| For those of you who live in (or used to live in) Portland, who are you favorite yoga instructors here and why?
I'm writing a magazine article - for Ultimate, an Oregonian publication - about the BEST yoga instructors in Portland. In order for the list to be fair, worthwhile and interesting, I need to hear from lots and lots of people.
Please email me at taradianewilkinson@yahoo.com or post your answer here. I would love to know:
1. the names of instructors you highly recommend and what kind of yoga they teach
2. why you like this instructor and how they've helped you in your yoga practice
3. your age
Thank you so much!

| I'm not sure those kinds of things, by their very nature are "fair", considering it is totally subjective.
However, the person I most fancy in Portland is Suzanne Bigelow. She is a certified Purna Yoga teacher.
The reasons she's my "favorite"? Incredibly well trained. The highest of ethics. An appropriate balance between effect and safety in her asana teaching, and she is a most caring human being, moving her students toward their purpose.
I am 43. |

| an opinion from a 43 yr old means nothing. you have to at least be 44 to qualify for a 'real' opinion.
