| i think this post is more an enthusiastic sharing of having discovered the 2 types of headstands.
Found a fabulous book called Anatomy of Hatha Yoga. Really cool descriptions of the two variations. Anybody with any insights on that? Of course apart from that the entire book is an absolute treat.

| Hi Tiary,
I wondered when you were going to stop lurking and start posting
I love the Coulter book, though it has caused some discussion on the forum.

| ha ha, funny! well i am just a shy geek . i am truly loving the book, going to check out the discussions... |
| Did you buy it in Dubai?
| Yes i did, found it at Magrudy's in Jumeirah quite by accident.
The other thing is for the past few months i have been really trying to get into a regular practise. Joined Bikram Yoga classes which have been superb in many ways, just going 5 times a week for the past few months has really helped. But am getting a bit bored of the routine i think, though somewhere i know boredom is a state of mind and i should work with that. Yet i suppose what i miss is exploring and doing other postures as well. i guess going through the book i feel inspired to practise a wider range on a regular basis. |

| I don't want to steal Brian's students, though you should come and try the Iyengar classes with me

| Actually i have only once been for a class with Brian. Alex takes most of the classes in the evenings and he is a suuuper teacher! i went for an Iyenger workshop a couple of years back which i really liked. Where do you go for Iyengar classes? |
| They are held in Jumeirah 1 (near safa Park) and out by the Burj Al Arab.
I'll PM you the details.
