I am just curious as to what other members here look for in a Yoga studio, when you are choosing one. What types of services or styles of yoga do you seek. Anything else is welcome. Thank you in advance for your reply.

For me, number one is definately qualified and experienced teachers.

Are you thinking of opening a studio then?

i also look for quality of instruction. style isn't that important to me; i like to try different things.

i also look for a decent price.

1. Teachers who live what they teach. When a person teaches what they do not know or knows what they do not teach there is an absence of integrity.

2. a space that's clean. When a studio embodies Saucha I know I'm in the right place for my practice.

3. People of joy. When the students look happy and the staff looks happy and the teachers look happy AND they are kind toward each other, this is the right place for my growth.

4. Professional teachers with more than 200 hours of legitimate training (means different things to different people).

5. An array of props (says to me the practice fits the person rather than the other way around)

6. modulated light and temperature

7. no chemical or perfume smells or cleansers

8. Safety first - alignment and action
