It would depend on which muscle of the abdominals you are having trouble with. And you cannot "get rid of" a pulled muscle.

Generally speaking these are tough ones when they are in spasm.
Why? Because most movement originates in the midrift, as does respiration and laughing/talking.

Resting on the back with the knees bent and knocked together should keep the belly calm.
You can also try the same position with a bolster or folded blanket under the knees.
Additionally you can lift the calves up on the seat of a chair such that the knees and hips are both at 90ยบ though you will undoubtedly need to use the abdominals for getting into/out of this position with the chair so it's a last resort.

You'll need to be hydrated so put a little lemon juice into the water you drink and avoid caffeine and refined sugars. Frutis are advised though.

At night spend 10 minutes rubbing olive oil on the area of the belly that is effected will help. You may also use untoasted organic sesame oil instead of the olive though both have their up sides. Ideally you would use an oil that goes with your constitution.

You may also bathe in warm epsom salt baths.
