My idea of having a thread for promotion was a silly. But, how about:

a thread where a new comer introduces themselves as done today by a yogini in Georgia.

Good idea Neel.

I always try and welcome new posters in my replies, though it would be great if they had a place to introduce themselves and tell us a little about them.

I agree...I'd like to meet the new posters. It feels like it is just the same old posters sometimes. Fresh voices are great!

Hello,

New poster here. I've been doing Hatha Yoga for about a month and thoroughly enjoy it. I wish I started years ago. I joined in when my wife took some evening classes so I had an opportunity to join. Gladly, I met a nice lady at my first session and she and I talk about our successes and troubles after class. It's great to have a "yoga buddy" for support.

I need a wedge for a balky wrist from too much woodworking. I hope to wean myself off of it. (the chair prop for the triangle (?) move with leg against the wall has to go too!) I am proud of some of the things I'm able to do and my teacher says I take the teaching well. It helps that I'm fascinated by most of it.

Best regards,
Scott
