If u are working with a new client and they are looking for 2 per week for 2 people – I have her a quote and now she wants 3 people – typically what would the increase be.. I have heard anything from 25% more to double.. what do u recommend?

I think that is your choice. In my case, it depends on:

- what I need

- how much she can afford

- what I think she is getting from me

etc.

while i work on an individual basis, i generally charge $90 per hour for private lessons, with a limit of 3 clients in that lesson (a semi private). beyond this, then it is an extra $15 per person up to 6 because i have to get a larger space or $10 per person if one of the clients is providing an appropriate space.

if the client wants to hold a class just for them, then it's 7-10 people for $150. anyone over 10 is $10 per person.

also, i'm an experienced teacher who has a great deal of experience in therapeutics, so my price is higher than a newer teacher with less experience in therapeutics. most new teachers charge $45 per hour, and more experienced teachers without therapeutics charge $75 per hour (experienced is teachers with 3 or more years of teaching experience--in my area at least).

i don't know how they charge for 'extra' folks.
