That depends on many details. a) What do you mean by photographic memory? b) Have you seen an example of this? c) What is meant by Raja Yoga to you? d) How dedicated you are to do such a practice etc.

But, only thing I can say now is: It is possible.

Best Luck to you.

Deer Neel,

I have been practicing Raja yoga about 2 months. I do the breathing exercise and concentrate on counting 1 to 4 in my head. Also, I try to think a color and hold it as long as possible in my head. I don't know if this will train my mind and able to develop a eidetic memory or photographic memory, like remember everything by looking at something once.

thank you so much

Dear Spike:

1. I do not think this will lead you to Photographic Memory.

2. But, I also feel that you should ask this question to the source where you got the instruction or idea of your particular meditation practice. If they can not give that answer, you should reconsider the practice.

3. If you wish to approach a photographic memory using my instruction, you need to see me. Also, you need to give me lot more info which I shall ask you when you actually see me. This is because: meditation practice is not like doing a simple physical act such as brushing teeth which applies almost same to everyone.

I wish you a photographic memory!!!
