Subject: Post practice headaches

I get low-level headaches for at least 24 hours after I practice. They feel like tension headaches and likely originate from my neck. I cannot trace them to any particular poses. I love practicing so I don't want to give it up, but it's not terribly encouraging to feel lousy for a day after a session.

Can anyone help me to get this figured out?

Hello Colleen,

I am sure we can contribute to either your solution or your problem - LOL.
Here are a few links to other recent conversations about practice and headaches.
They may answer some or all of your questions. The remaining questions can be followed up on in this thread.
At that time it would be very helpful, no, necessary to know more about you and your practice as both things are relative unknowns.

Headaches from poses
Headaches after yoga
Headaches
on migraines
on tension headaches

Where and how are you performing this practice?
