| I have been practicing yoga very regularly for about a year at this point. I'v dabbled in regular practice before, but this is the longest stretch ever for me. I am totally committed to my practice at this point. Anyhoo, I am not the most graceful nor coordinated girl in the world. I am totally a picked last in gym kind of gal. I got up into headstand today. I am so proud of myself. It's the first time I have inverted (other than shoulder stand, which I hate bc I feel like my boobs are suffocated me when I do it). I got up and could have stayed there forever. I came down, rested for a hot minute and went back up to prove to myself that it wasn't a fluke. I loved it! I can see why people really dig inversions and why they are so beneficial. The change in perspective is amazing and I felt such clarity when I did it. I felt 100% alive and empowered. I am so proud of myself and how far my asana practice has come. All the rad physical stuff my body can do is a metaphor for the changes my mind is undergoing, as well. Some people are naturally strong or flexible and I am none of those. Everything my body can do is a testament to my discipline and effort. Oh, my teachers aren't half bad, either. ;-D

| Woot! Way to go! I must admit that I spend like weeks going up into headstand and giggling like a little school girl I felt so joyful. |

| Atta girl Ivy! We're collectively proud of you--we need a photo--it's your yogic duty to help inspire others |

| More importantly, it'll get the image of GJ inverted with his pleated schoolgirl's skirt falling over his face out of my head
