Location: Somewhere in the Mountains of Western NC | My sights have been set on some place down South...way down south in the other "America", somewhere like in the Andes mountains. I'm totally getting bored with the "eastern" shores, LOL!! |

| Best of all:
2 years in that small apartment in Puna next to the Iyengar centre, then one summer in a fisherman’s house on a remote Greek island, then one month in that Manhatan Hotel and then go south and up on the Andes stay with the shepherds… (and the beekeepers:-)
Am I asking too much?

Pune versus a Greek Isle? I guess Pune would be cheaper, but would you trade Guruji for Zorba? |

| There are lot of beehives and a lot of honey produced in most of the Greek islands and of very good quality, dear friend Cindy.
As for Greece, I cannot be objective myself.
I am very often very much disappointed by seeing a lot of environmental destruction happening around me and unable to do something against it. On the other hand there are still quiet a few places/areas that are still so breathtakingly beautiful and so unique. Most important of all is that nature here is very rich, but also very friendly. Friendly whether, friendly flora and fauna, friendly sea. Not that friendly people in the big cities, but some very nice and wise old men still drinking their raki on remote islands and mountain villages. Which brings us to Mr. Iyengar: I prefer him than Zorbas. Although from seeing him, I also get a feeling that a lot of interesting Zorbas-characteristics must be included in his great personality.
