| Fee - that sounds miserable! I hope you have been able to stay warm, at least.
Two items - 1) I have the same wind-up lantern that you do! It works pretty well, eh? and 2) tell your local coppers it is called a "grow op." You can't manufacture cannabis, as far as I know.
Oh - one more thing! Definitely wear the raspberry coloured top next time you are on camera. Very flattering! |

| Thanks ladies...... I really must get a home generator for my 'pot' plants *lol*
My Korat, Max, made a cameo appearance on the TV clip. I didn't notice at the time as he actually had his mouth shut :-)..... The 'gobby' Korat gives the Siamese a run for its money.
Actually, the police think they've ruled out a skunk factory so heaven knows what's causing these surges as one engineer told me they've measured up to 650 amps at times and that if we had modern cable, rather than the older armoured kind, it would have melted in the ground!
The lantern was a thank-you gift from a neighbour. Unfortunately the TV presenter snapped off the knob on the wind-up handle so the beeb now have to get me a new one *lol*
The top's very warm and comfy being made of cashmere and cotton - see http://www.woolovers.com/cashmere-cotton/unisex/cotton-classic-crew-neck.aspx
Love,
Fiona

| Maybe you should consider moving, Fiona. First they try to flood you out and then cut the electricity--what price fame ?
I do hope you still have heat. Our town council plugs into our electric supply to feed the town Christmas lights. Do you have a 100 meter Christmas tree blinking somewhere near? Follow its wires, if they lead to your house , well bingo |

| Oh, yes, it was nice seeing the real person for once--particularly when she is famous |

Thanks Belle!
Actually, maybe that's it....... all that flood water has finally soaked into the insulation and is causing the shorts?
No, the central heating goes off as well as the gas boiler has electrc ignition and temperature control.
My gas fire in the lounge still works though.I've found so far that the house has stayed warm enough for long enough without it though.
