| I was thinking if you guys can help me. I was involved in a vehicular accident last year and my leg got injured. It was operated and still gets a little pain at times. Can yoga exercises help me relieve the pain? Do you also recommend any effective pain reliever you guys might've tried before? Thanks for the help. |

It depends on exactly what is causing the pain. Exactly what did you injure and what was the operation? Did your doctor recommend visiting a physical therapist after the operation? If so, what exercises did he/she recommend?
It is usually better to fix the problem that is causing the pain than to take pain killers to mask the pain. I find that often one of the best pain relievers is a bag of frozen corn or peas applied to the area of pain, as it reduces swelling and inflammation.

| Hello Martin,
"Can yoga exercises help me relieve the pain?"
Perhaps.
"Do you also recommend any effective pain reliever you guys might've tried before?"
If you are asking about pharmaceuticals, no I try and not take them at every turn. However this is clearly not "the way" for every person. If you choose to take them, take them mindfully having done your research to understand the potential side effects and so forth. Regardless of what choice you make you'll have to live with it, as well all do.
A more specific question will likely get a more specific answer.
