| Hi Mathew. Any yoga that softens the ribs e.g. cat, moving in/out of plough, anything to improve breathing. -may be helpful. |

| Hello Mathew,
Welcome to the forum.
Please bear in mind that Yoga postures are not prescription medicine. It is rarely a situation where one does this and thus fixes that. Not only in the process of healing a slow and steady proposition but it also almost always mandates a robust yoga practice (as opposed to "just postures").
That having been said, the skin is the termination of the nervous system. It is our connection to the external world. Ergo those things that soothe the nervous system would be very helpful. These things would include foods that are Yin in the body, pranayama that is calming and subtle, and postures that facilitate space in the vertebrae or release of the invertebral muscles.
Additionally, dietary changes away from processed foods, sugars, wheat, alcohol, and caffeine would be helpful. A cleansing product like Calli tea would also help you to move things out of your system that are ready to go.

Location: Uppsala, Sweden | As Gordon explained, yoga can help you with a good balanced healty life style in general but it is not a medical prescription for all ailments. If you have problems with hair loss (alopecia) and dandruff (seborrhea), you are more likely to be helped by going to a dermatologist — an MD who specializes in skin problems — than attending a yoga class or doing other yogic exercises. Dermatitis may have a connection with your diet and other things, and there can be many causes for hair loss... but asking a yoga teacher about it is not what I would do.
