I know this question will sound vain, but I have to ask. Does bikram help tighten breast tissue? I am currently 180 lbs at 5'9. Down 30 from 210. My healthy weight is around 150, so I have 30 more to go. Im 24.

What I have noticed is after my initial 30 lbs weight loss, my breasts have of course loss fat and now sag more than I am comfortable with. I am concerned that when I lose the extra 30 they will be even worse.

I have tried bikram a few times and will begin attending 2--3 time s a week. I know that it will help me lose weight and tighten my body....but will it tighten my breasts?...If there is extra, saggy skin....is it going to do anything? If so, what? I love my body, but I would like to wait until after I have kids to have a little bit of sag instead of when I am in my 20s. Anything will help. Thanks.

Hi,
There is not much you can do.If the weight loss is fast and if it is alot of weight the skin will not be able to shrink.
You could do lots of strength training exercises to build chest muscle(chest pess, push ups, flysetc) which will help to firm up the chest and will make the breasts look less saggy.
I do not think Bikram has much for building chest muscle....try Ashtanga or Vinyasa flow which has many repititions of chaturanga dandasana and plank which will build chest and upper arm muscle.
Good luck.

I have a condition that makes me take all hormones synthetically. due to this my breast grew very fast and left me with stretch marks and sag
I have been in Bikram for about three years and guess what!!!!!!! due to hormonal shifts and who knows what els but yes my tissue has become more dense and they have grown and lifted
I have actual real breast now (and the stretch marks are better too !!!)
I went from a 24 bust to a solid 28

kakes - think in terms of 6 months to a year rather than days or weeks. Be patient.

And congrats on the weight loss!

If your enormous moobs are ruining your vibe, there is always moob reduction surgery.

This thread is too funny!

No disrespect to the original poster. I lost about eight pounds since starting Bikram yoga again a little over a year ago, and the boob shrinkage has been about the only downside I can think of :-( Maybe the other posters' suggestions about exercises is something to try!
