Goddess CD by Baluji Shrivastav offers Indian World Music in Celebration of Goddesses around the world.

Goddess offers musical portraits celebrating the power of love epitomized by female deities of different traditions and cultures. Incorporating elements from the various musical styles of each of the cultures represented, Baluji draws from the spirit of these traditions and expresses them through North Indian classical music. Percussion by Andy Williams, drummer of "Doves".

Baluji Shrivastav is one of the greatest instrumentalists India has produced excelling in sitar, surbahar, dilruba, pakhavaj and tabla. Amazingly he was not born into a well know musical dynasty and was not guided by famous gurus. As a result he stands outside the conventional establishment of Indian music, often struggling against prejudice, to take his place amongst the greatest in this field.
